were you surprised when you found out your ipad didn't come with an user manual or instructions?
Like many ipad users you've probably now realised that Apple - in their infinite wisdom - didn't bother to include a manual. That's because Apple's tact is to manufacture a product for maximum ease of use. They want you to just 'pick up and play'. They expect you to pick it up and quickly learn how to do everything. Well, that's true to a certain extent. The ipad is amazingly intuitive - that's probably one of the main reasons why you bought it!
But this is no simple gizmo. There are lots of settings and features to master and unless your friend pops round and shows you the less well known stuff you'll probably never know the full extent of what your ipad can do. That would be a shame considering the ipad is not cheap.
When you step into a new car for the first time you will know how to intuitively drive the car but you certainly won't know what all the new technology benefits are. Inevitably this takes some trial and error where you wantonly play with buttons until you know what they do. Or you can also refer to the car's manual.
If you are anything like me though, you'll probably not have the time or desire to actually read a manaul. All those pages! It's increasingly common that in the digital age we live in more and more people are turning to video for information or 'how to'. There is a tonne of 'how to' videos online these days on topics like DIY or learning languages. There's just something about video that makes it easier to take in than reading.
Handily, a self confessed 'super geek' has produced a step-by-step guide to getting the most out of your ipad. This is aimed at both novices and intermediate users alike. The videos are split into different categories and allow you to break down the various features and settings of the ipad. If there's something you want to know how to do there will be a video you can watch. You can then watch at a time most convenient to yourself. Personally I've had great results from watching as little as 10-15mins per day.
The ipad has so much depth and once you've begun to master it, you'll find yourself amazing your family and friends with the cool tricks and untapped features you would never think to search for on google.
